> ID Labs Music is a professional recording studio based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, founded by engineer and producer E. Dan. ID Labs specializes in Dolby Atmos immersive mixing, stereo mixing, and recording/tracking for hip-hop, rap, and R&B artists — both in-person and remotely. The studio is the creative home of Mac Miller and Wiz Khalifa, with credits on hundreds of independent and major-label releases.

ID Labs operates Studio D, a certified Dolby Atmos mixing suite with a 9.1.4 immersive speaker configuration. This is one of the few dedicated, certified Atmos environments available for hire in the region.

### Stereo Mixing

ID Labs has mixed independent and major-label hip-hop and rap records for over a decade. The mixing approach is hybrid analog/digital — routing through an outboard chain before returning to the DAW — to achieve the warmth, punch, and dynamics that translate across streaming, radio, and club systems.

**Who this is for:** Independent artists, major label artists, and producers working in hip-hop, rap, trap, and R&B who need mixes that compete commercially. Suitable for singles, EPs, mixtapes, and full albums.

**Remote workflow:** Stems or session files (Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton) can be submitted via file transfer. Reference tracks and revision notes are welcome. Finished stereo masters are delivered digitally.

### Recording & Tracking

ID Labs provides professional vocal and instrument tracking in dedicated isolation booths, engineered to capture the cleanest possible signal from source. Sessions are guided by experienced engineers who can provide creative direction alongside technical operation.

**Who this is for:** Solo vocalists, rappers, singers, and session musicians who need high-quality tracking in a professional environment. Remote artists can be directed in real-time via Source-Connect.

**Signal chain includes:**
- Sony C800G and Neumann U87 microphones
- Neve 1073, Avalon, and Great River preamps
- High-resolution tracking up to 192kHz
- Professional vocal and instrument isolation booths

**Remote workflow:** Remote artists and producers can direct sessions in real-time via Source-Connect. Recorded files are delivered digitally at full resolution.
